I believe that the Yoruba national Flag is blue with a white circle near
the hoist and within, a golden emblem (Source: Flags of Aspirant Peoples [eba94] as
	Western Region (Yorubas, 1960).
  Jaume Olle, 12 Sept 1999
The Yorubas are the dominant ethnic group in the west of Nigeria with Ibadan as capital. After independence,
Nigeria was divided into three regions (North,
  East and West). The Action
Group, dominant in the Western Region, had asked for internal autonomy in
1956, but was in opposition at the time of independence (1960) following the
general elections of 1959. After agitation in the West, the region was divided
and the Midwest was created in 1964. So this flag might have been used by
  Action Group.
